Quarter 3 Revision #1

for the first revision we want to trim down this film a little bit. we cut out different clips that were either hard to follow or didn't contribute much to the film. prior to this we were on the very close to being too long but since we trimmed it down it is at a good length.

Quarter 3 Revision #2

Our second revision was that we changed the way we played the credits. The way we did it prior where we had the credits at the end gave an idea that the film was over when it is supposed to be the beginning extract of a film so by us making the credits play through out the beginning shots we got that feel.

Quarter 3 Revision #3

For our third and final revision we trimmed the music a little differently to get the "man eater" part of it because it was extremely fitting for out film. Originally we have it in the end with the credit reel but since we took that out we wanted to change the section of music we had used.

3rd Quarter submission

Image
In this version we changed three things. We started with rolling the credits in the beginning instead of the end to make it seem more like an extract from a film. Then we cut out parts of the film we didn't need that either didn't add much to the storyline or was irrelevant. Then we also changed the music section used. Since we took the music out of the end we wanted to change the part of music playing during the beginning shots.

Distribution Research - Vampires Suck

Image
Vampires Suck is available on Amazon Prime, Vudu, iTtunes, Google Play and Youtube digitally all for 3.99. Vampires suck was also on Hulu and Netflix but was removed. It was released August 18th, 2010 then it was releases on November 30th, 2010 which has an 104 day gap between the release of the film in theaters and the film release on DVD. The film also came out in Netflix and Hulu on that same day. All of these methods are conventional and standard for films.

In Class Activity - Art of the Tiitle

In this title reel, the font and colors match the feel and time era of the film. The credit reel continues as Austin powers movies thought the city. how i plan on using this to inspire my movie is to roll the credits during the beginning with music over it instead of at the end to make it seem more like the beginning of a film and not a short film.
